Scuba Fusion Rental Equipment Use & Responsibility Agreement (required):

I acknowledge that the scuba equipment I am renting from Scuba Fusion (“Equipment”) is life-support equipment and must be used only by me and only for its intended recreational scuba purposes. I confirm I am a certified diver (or am actively enrolled in training under a qualified instructor and will use the Equipment only under that instructor’s direct supervision). I agree I will not loan, share, sub-rent, or allow use of the Equipment by any uncertified person, and I will not allow any other person to use the Equipment under my name or reservation. I understand that improper use, misuse, alteration, or failure to follow manufacturer instructions and standard safe diving practices can result in serious injury or death.

I agree I will not use the Equipment to teach, train, supervise, guide, or conduct instruction for any diver, whether certified or uncertified, and I will not represent myself as an instructor, divemaster, guide, or professional while using Scuba Fusion rental equipment unless I am properly credentialed and have written authorization from Scuba Fusion. I will not modify, disassemble, tune, repair, or adjust the Equipment (including regulator tuning, BCD inflator mechanisms, valves, or any life-support components). If any issue arises (free-flow, leak, malfunction, abnormal performance, or damage), I will stop using the Equipment immediately and notify Scuba Fusion. I agree to use the Equipment only within my training, experience, certification limits, and applicable laws/site rules.

I accept full responsibility for the care, custody, and timely return of the Equipment in the same condition as received, normal wear and tear excepted. Rental pricing is for a standard 7-day period beginning on the pickup date. If the selected/actual return date exceeds 7 days from pickup, I agree to pay an additional daily charge for each extra day, calculated per item as: (Item weekly rental price ÷ 7) × (number of days beyond 7). I agree to pay for loss, theft, excessive wear, contamination, or damage (including corrosion, sand intrusion, missing parts, torn seals, flooded components, or misuse), and I authorize Scuba Fusion to charge the payment method on file for such costs and any applicable late fees per the formula above and posted rates.

I understand Scuba Fusion is not responsible for injury, property loss, or damages arising from my misuse, improper sharing, or unauthorized teaching/training with the Equipment.
