The Weekend is spent at the pool learning basic scuba skills. Combined with eLearning this program completes the first half of certification.

Location: Store is in San Mateo – pool for this program is in San Carlos (close proximity).
Everything is included except a mask, Snorkel, Fins, boots and gloves. Buy from Scuba Fusion so you can exchange poorly fitting masks or fins before attempting ocean diving. More Details >

Age Requirement: Students must be 12 years or older to participate in this program.
Saturday begins at the pool with instruction on setting up scuba gear. After a break all divers complete in-water skills. The facility is nice with hot showers and changing rooms.
Sunday starts directly at the pool. Grads earn Referrals used to finish certs abroad or with us at Monterey(sold separately). Instructor’s advice: “Get a good fitting mask and real diving fins .
Prerequisites:
Divers need to visit the school a week or more prior to size pool gear and sign(in-person) the medical questionnaire. No appointment necessary. Certain answers provided on the medical may require candidates to seek medical clearance from their primary care. Divers cannot participate in pool or ocean dives without a waiver if needed.
