What’s all this about backplates and wings?
Our staff made the transition
Backplate and wing buoyancy compensators have become the norm. They offer better balance, ease of use, comfort and because of their modularity, they can be a lot cheaper than a traditional jacket style BC. Divers making the transition from warm to cold water may find that all they need to do is change out the wing. Also, the stainless steel plate can weigh up to 6 pounds taking that weight off your belt. The staff at Scuba Fusion made the transition and never looked back.
