Otters make toys of the buoys we use during scuba classes.  If we leave the buoy unzipped the otters will pop the underlying inner tubes sending our buoys to the seafloor.  Ha ha funny funny the first time.  Quite annoying the third time when you are an instructor trying to teach a diving class.

  • Scientific Name: Enhydra lutris nereis
  • Habitat: Kelp Forest
  • Diet: crabs, snails, urchins, clams, mussels and other invertebrates
