Saw Better Price?
Don’t be Mislead: It is unfortunate when we see divers pass on this trip or go alone because of misleading advertisements that claim to save them a few hundred dollars.
Cenote Dives? There are some internet adds offering cenote dives for as little as $120 everything included. These offers don’t include transportation. We include transportation costs from Scuba Club to the entrance of the cavern as well as the park entrance fees and taxes. This includes the ferry fee from Cozumel to Playa and back again. The air conditioned bus from the Ferry station direct to the cenotes. Prices in this area of Mexico are highly regulated. Taxi fares are standard and cannot be negotiated. We are also cavern / cenote diving with Agua Clara Project. The organization is known for reliability. We have been working with them for 10 years.
Scuba Club? There are many internet adds regarding Scuba Club and lower prices. Read carefully they are either not at the time we are going or they do not include dinners, diving or even resort taxes. Our stay at Scuba Club is priced very reasonably for what is included.
Why not book the trip myself directly with the resort? Firstly you would not be able to dive with the Scuba Fusion group. Instructors from the store will be on site to assist you with your stay, organize and lead dives, troubleshoot gear issues, coordinate activities and more. The package includes additional dives led by our instructors. Divers join group trips like this for the company of other divers and to share their experiences with them. You will be traveling with people you know and the dive center you trust. Scuba Fusion has been running this trip for 10 years. Our relationship with the resort and the cavern diving organization is long standing. This trip helps the staff pay for their tickets which keeps them excited about being dive professionals. The store does not seek to profit from this trip. It is engineered to excite staff and keep you in the water.
If I show up there can I dive with Scuba Fusion? Negative! All scheduled dives are part of the group package. The resort separates groups from non groups boat wise.
