Rescue Dive Class

Welcome to the world of being a Rescue Diver!
The Scuba Fusion Dive Center™ team looks forward to helping you get trained as a Rescue Diver. As a Rescue Diver you will be better able to help other divers, and yourself, wherever you travel. This is a key step to becoming a better diver, and the first step towards becoming a PADI Divemaster. Being a Rescue Diver means that you've almost achieved the gold ring of scuba diving - the coveted Master Scuba Diver certification! Training Fees
$190.00 - Store Registration Fee (nonrefundable, nontransferable)
$65.00 - Student Kit

Prerequisites
In order to register in the PADI Rescue Diver course, you must first already be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent), and you must be at least 12 years old.

Class Schedule
The PADI Rescue Class consists of one class session, one pool session, and one ocean dive. The ocean training will include self-rescue skills, how to deal with tired divers, panicked divers, lost divers, unconscious divers, and many other self rescue topics.

What you will need to buy
For the first night, you will need the PADI Rescue Diver Kit which includes Manual, Pocket Mask and a Diving Accident Management Work slate. Before your ocean dives, you will need your own personal snorkeling gear (which includes masks, snorkel, fins, boots, PADI dive table or wheel, whistle, and a timing device).

What you will need to rent
You may rent the rest of your scuba diving equipment from Scuba Fusion Dive Center. This includes your wetsuit, hood, gloves, regulator, weight belt, buoyancy control device (BCD) and tanks.

Medical Concerns or Questions: If you are currently under the care of a Medical Doctor, or have a preexisting condition that requires permission from a Physician, you will need to have a Medical Release before any in-water activities. PADI Medical Release Form.
