Kids Dive Too! Scuba Diving Programs Offered at Scuba Fusion


Learn to Scuba Diving Be a jr Open Water Diver! Yes, the kids can come scuba diving too! Kids can get Jr. scuba certified as young as 10 years old. However, there are some limitations. Jr. certification means that after the course they can dive as long as a certified parent/legal guardian dives with them. Most kids love the water and run circles around the adults. However, we have found that Monterey may be best left out of the equation until they have developed some additional diving experience. We at Scuba Fusion Dive Center™ recommend that Jr. divers sign up for the Referral course instead of the complete certification program. This way kids get to learn to dive in a more enjoyable and less arduous setting. The jr Open Water Course is similar to the adult program except with additional supervision provided by PADI instructors and Divemasters.
