Class
Schedule
The PADI jr Open Water Scuba Class sterts weekly.
The jr Open Water Course is the exact same course
as our regular format.
This two weekend
course consists
of all the class and poolsessions in the first weekend,
and ocean dives on a seperate weekend. This format does require the
student to complete
all knowledge reviews prior to the first class. Weekday evening start dates are also available.
Training
Fees
The PADI jr Open Water Diver total training fees for a group
class are $175.00. The fees are broken down as follows:
$
50.00 - Registration Fee (nonrefundable, nontransferable)
$125.00 - Instructors Fee/Certification Fee
When
you sign up for a class the Registration Fee will be collected.
The Instructor will collect the Instructor Fee/Certification
Fee (cash/check only) during the first night of class. Class
size is limited, so early registration is recommended!
What
you will need to buy
Before the class begins, you will need the PADI Open Water
Student Kit
and PADI Open Water Videos OR the PADI Open Water CD-ROM
Student
Kit (both versions include the PADI Open Water Diver Manual,
dive tables,
log book, and a student record file). Before your first
pool session you will
need your own personal gear, which includes mask, snorkel,
fins, boots,
and gloves.
What
you may rent
You may rent the rest of your scuba diving equipment at
the Special Class Price listed above. This includes your
wetsuit, hood, regulator, weight belt, buoyancy control
device (BCD) and tanks.

Medical
Concerns or Questions: If you are currently under
the care of a Medical Doctor, or have a preexisting condition
that requires permission from a Physician, you will need
to have a Medical Release before any in-water activities. PADI
