$100.00 - Instructors Fee/Certification Fee

When you sign up for the class, the Store Registration Fee will be
collected. The Instructor will collect the Instructor Fee/Certification Fee (cash/check only)

Course Prerequisites
In order register in the Kelp Diver course, you must first already be a PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent), and you must be at least 12 years old.

Class Schedule
The Kelp Diver Class is a two evening class consisting of one class session and one pool session. In the class, we'll discuss how to dive safely in kelp. The ocean session consists of three dives:
- a skin dive (act like an otter in the kelp!)
- a scuba dive that introduces kelp forest penetration
-
a scuba dive that introduces procedures for handling entanglement

What you will need to buy
There are no purchases necessary for the Kelp Diver course. It is recommended that you have a small light for the ocean dives.

What you may rent
You may rent the rest of your scuba diving equipment from Scuba Fusion Dive Center.
This includes your wetsuit, hood, regulator, weight belt, buoyancy control device (BCD),
and tanks.

Medical Concerns or Questions: If you are currently under the care of a Medical Doctor, or have a preexisting condition that requires permission from a Physician, you will need to have a Medical Release before any in-water activities. PADI Medical Release Form.
