We at Scuba Fusion Dive Center look forward to helping you get trained as a DAN Remote Emergency Medical Oxygen (REMO2) Provider! This course supplements the DAN Oxygen First Aid in Scuba Diving Injuries course. Based on medical closed-circuit oxygen rebreather technology, the REMO2™ device provides injured divers with high concentrations of emergency oxygen for extended periods. What is the DAN Remote Emergency Medical Oxygen (REMO2) Provider program?
You know the importance of oxygen as a first aid measure for decompression illness. But, what happens when you have more ocean than oxygen between you and advanced medical care? The DAN Remote Emergency Medical Oxygen (REMO2™) system is an affordable way to extend the oxygen supply of your DAN oxygen unit. The system absorbs carbon dioxide from an injured diver's expired air and replaces the small amounts of oxygen the diver uses, allowing the diver to rebreathe the exhaled oxygen. The REMO2™ system extends the duration of a standard oxygen Jumbo "D" cylinder up to eight hours (an approximate eight-fold increase). If you dive in remote areas, the DAN REMO2™ system should be part of your safety plan.

Training Fees
The DAN Remote Emergency Medical Oxygen (REMO2) Provider course total training fee for a group class is $70.00. The fees are broken down as follows:

$ 20.00 - Store Registration Fee (nonrefundable, nontransferable)
$ 50.00 - Instructors Fee/Certification Fee (cash/check only)

When you sign up for the class, the Store Registration Fee will be collected. The Instructor will collect the Instructor Fee/Certification Fee (cash/check only) at the beginning of the class session. Class size is limited, so early registration is recommended!

Class Schedule
The DAN Remote Emergency Medical Oxygen (REMO2) Provider Course is a 1/2 day or evening course. This class is designed for both divers and non-divers, so bring a friend!

What you will need to buy
Prior to the first class you will need DAN Remote Emergency Medical Oxygen (REMO2) manual. In addition, a pocket mask is required.
