We at Scuba Fusion Dive Center look forward to helping you get trained as a DAN Oxygen (O2) Provider! This course will give you the skills necessary to how to provide emergency oxygen as required as a medicine. What is the DAN O2 Provider program?
The course is designed to train and educate the general diving public in the techniques of using oxygen as first aid for a suspected dive injury. In addition, this course will introduce novice divers to the fundamentals of recognizing diving injury warning signs, response and management. This program also provides an excellent opportunity for experienced divers and instructors to continue their education. The DAN Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries course is not designed to train lay persons to provide oxygen to the general public. While the medical standards and equipment are the same regarding the emergency use of oxygen for both divers and non-divers, the DAN Oxygen Provider course does not prepare individuals to respond to the ill or injured member of the general public by using emergency oxygen.

Training Fees
The DAN 02 course total training fee for a group class is $70.00. The fees are broken down as follows:

$ 20.00 - Store Registration Fee (nonrefundable, nontransferable)
$ 50.00 - Instructors Fee/Certification Fee (cash/check only)

When you sign up for the class, the Store Registration Fee will be collected. The Instructor will collect the Instructor Fee/Certification Fee (cash/check only) at the beginning of the class session. Class size is limited, so early registration is recommended!

As a benefit to PADI divers working towards their Master Scuba Diver rating, you may addtionally opt to receive the PADI O2 Provider Specialty for an additional $25.

Class Schedule
The DAN O2 Course is a 1/2 day or evening course. This class is designed for both divers and non-divers, so bring a friend!

What you will need to buy
Prior to the first class you will need DAN O2 Provider manual. In addition, a pocket mask is required.
