provide emergency oxygen as required using advanced tools
commonly used by emergency medical technicians.. If

What
is the DAN Advanced O2 First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries
program?
This module, Advanced Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving
Injuries, is an advanced-level program that provides additional
training for those individuals who have successfully completed
the DAN Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries course
within the past year (12 months). It is designed to train
DAN Oxygen Providers to use the MTV-100 or a Bag Valve Mask
(BVM) while providing care for a non-breathing injured diver
and activating the local emergency medical services (EMS)
and / or arranging for evacuation to the nearest available
medical facility.

Fees
The DAN Advanced 02 First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries
course total training fee for a group class is $70.00. The
fees are broken down as follows:
$ 20.00
- Store Registration Fee (nonrefundable, nontransferable)
$ 50.00 - Instructors Fee/Certification Fee (cash/check
only)
When
you sign up for the class, the Store Registration Fee will
be collected. The Instructor will collect the Instructor
Fee/Certification Fee (cash/check only) at the beginning
of the class session. Class size is limited, so early registration
is recommended!

The DAN Advanced O2 First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries
is a 1/2 day or evening course. This class is designed for
both divers and non-divers, so bring a friend!
Prerequisites
You must be a DAN
O2 Provider to attend the Advanced O2 First Aid
for Scuba Diving InjuriesCourse.
What
you will need to buy
Prior to the first class you will need DAN Advanced O2 First
Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries manual. In addition, a pocket
mask is required.
