Be Careful Handling Diving Tanks spacer

Don't Let Your Tank Get Away

Although rare, it is a real possibility to drop a cylinder and have its valve break off. The result is a 35lb missile looking for a target. Don't leave tanks standing up unnatended, especially on the edge of the pickup bed. When driving place tanks in the lowest part of your trunk, cover them with your weight belt to prevent them from rolling. The valves are made of brass, a soft metal, so be careful of what they are making contact with during that long road trip to monterey.

Most Tanks Are Equipped With Burst Disks

A burst disk allows high pressure air to ecape from your tank in the event of an over-fill or over heating. If the pressure of the tank is taken too high the burst disk will burst and lots of air will exit the tank instantly.
